 Hiking The Potawatomi Trail

The Potawatomi Trail is allegedly and old trail used by the Potawatomi Indians who were the original inhabitants of this area at the time of settlement.

Hiking the trail is an enjoyable experience as it has easy loops and is great for children. There are points of historical interest flagged and with reasonably comprehensive explanations. I have had very good experiences hiking the trail but don't take it from me. Many others have had great times there.

As always, when hiking in recreation areas with population centers nearby, be on the lookout for the unexpected.
